Formati nel 1985, i THRASHers di Oakland VIO-LENCE hannocontribuito a definire il suono della Bay Area, con tre album seminaliprima di dividersi nel 1993. Dopo la reunion ed alcuni concerti, ilquintetto ha iniziato a comporre a nuova musica ed adesso tornanocon questo Let The World Burn, un EP di cinque canzoni chepresenta il suo primo materiale nuovo in 29 anni, che ripropone ilclassico suono THRASH METAL dei Vio-Lence. "Questo è avvenutomolto naturalmente", afferma il chitarrista fondatore Phil Demmel."Volevo quel suono grezzo della metà degli anni \'80, e le nostrestrutture caratteristiche". Approfondisce il vocalist Sean Killian: "Ogni canzone ha il suo suono individuale,sono tutte molto THRASH METAL, ci sono riff macinanti, riff tecnici e molta velocità!
