La rivista NME ha classificato il disco al 10. posto tra i migliori album del 1997 ed è stato incluso tra i 1001 album da ascoltare prima di morire.Contiene i singoli Going Out (UK #5), Richard III (UK #2), Sun Hits the Sky (UK #10) e Late In The Day (UK #18). L'album viene ristampato in versione estesa con audio completamente rimasterizzato dai nastri originali e disponibile nel formato doppio LP standard, doppio LP turchese e triplo CD. La versione in vinile inoltre include il singolo 12" bianco Sun Hits The Sky (Bentley Rhythm Ace Remix) / The Animal, per la prima volta disponibile in formato LP dalla sua pubblicazione originale. Il formato triplo CD invece include 43 tracce su due CD, con l'aggiunta di B side, rarità, outtake, tracce live.
