Tra i musicisti che suonano quegli strumenti, sono i miei prediletti in assoluto. Senza dubbio la miglior band con cui avrei voluto suonare. Si capisce: ilcornettista e compositore Ron Miles ha realizzato il suo album di debutto su etichetta Blue Note in compagnia di Bill Frisell alla chitarra, Jason Moran alpiano, Thomas Morgan al contrabbasso e Brian Blade alla batteria, la stessa formazione che lo portò al successo con il suo album precedente, nel 2017. Ungruppo agguerrito, convolato a New York per dare il proprio contributo al progetto musicale di Miles. RAINBOW SIGN contiene nove composizioni originali, che compongono un toccante omaggio al padre da poco scomparso.
