Dopo la pubblicazione dellacclamatissimo Fast Forward, nel 2015, il leggendario Joe Jackson presenta il nuovo album Fool. Questo sarà il ventesimo lavoro dellartista, oltre che la realizzazione di un suo grande sogno: concludere un tour e fiondarsi immediatamente in studio per registrare un album. Così, il 29 luglio, Joe ha chiuso il suo tour estivo allEgyptian Theater di Boise, Idaho, e il giorno dopo si trovava già ai Tonic Room Studios della stessa città. Lalbum è stato co-prodotto dal cantautore e produttore Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard, ecc). La band è la stessa che suona con Joe dalluscita di Fast Forward: Teddy Kumpel alla chitarra, Doug Yowell alla batteria, e Graham Maby al basso. A febbraio 2019, Joe e i suoi musicisti partiranno per un nuovo tour mondiale che li porterà negli Stati Uniti e in Europa.
