L'album monumentale è attualmente il decimo album di debutto più venduto di tutti i tempi negli USA, certificato 21 volte Platino dal RIAA dalla sua prima pubblicazione nel 1994.Per l'occasione la band pubblica due nuove versioni con audio rimasterizzato, raro ed inedito in concomitanza con il lancio del loro esteso tour nel nord America Group Therapy Tour che avrà inizio il 30 maggio.Cracked Rear View: 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition sarà disponibile su etichetta Rhino come edizione deluxe 3CD/DVD il 31 maggio. Dall'album furono estrapolati 4 singoli di grande successo: "Hold My Hand", "Only Wanna Be with You", "Time", e "Let Her Cry" che fecero guadagnare a Hootie & the Blowfish un Grammy Award per la Miglior Performance Pop di un gruppo.La versione deluxe del DVD include il mix 5.1 Surround Sound dell'album originale e i missaggi 24/96 stereo delle cinque bonus track.
