Sebbene ansi:{201C}Chaos in Bloomansi:{201D} non sia necessariamente un album scaturito dalla pandemia, molti dei brani riflettono su tutte le cose della vita quotidiana che sono state amplificate mentre tutti erano isolati gli uni dagli altri e sequestrati a casa. Per registrare l\'album, Rzeznik e Takac si sono ritirati ai Dreamland Studios appena fuori Woodstock, New York durante la pandemia.
