Jacob Collier, 25 anni, è un talento fuori dal comune. La sua folgorante parabola artistica è iniziata con i video registrati nella sua stanzetta e diventati virali su Youtube in cui cantava, arrangiava, armonizzava e suonava tutti gli strumenti da solo: pianoforte, tastiere, chitarra, basso, contrabasso, batteria e percussioni. Numerosi gli apprezzamenti di mostri sacri del jazz come Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny e Chick Corea. Quincy Jones lo ha definito "un genio assoluto" e ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto per la sua etichetta, la Qwest Records, con il quale il giovanissimo Jacob ha ottenuto 2 Grammy Awards nel 2017. Djesse è un ambizioso progetto di 4 album con brani prodotti da Collier stesso partito nel marzo 2019 che si completerà entro il 2020.In questo Volume n. 2 Collier collabora con Lianne La Havas, la celebre YouTuber inglese dodie, la vincitrice del Premio Grammy Oumou Sangaré, Chris Thile, JoJo, Sam Amidon, Steve Vai, Becca Stevens e MARO.
