Feroce e senza compromessi nella loro esecuzione, l\'abilità dei Carcass di sezionare in modo intricato le viscere del death metal e di mostrarcele per farcele capire dal punto di vista sonoro è stato il loro punto di eccellenza per oltre tre decenni. Lo scorso dicembre (2019) la band ha pubblicato il primo singolo in oltre 5 anni, "Under The Scalpel Blade", seguito da un EP di 4 canzoni intitolato "Despicable" (ottobre 2020), creando un potente precedente per l\'album completo che arriverà nel 2021: "Torn Arteries". Con il titolo stesso dell\'album che fa riferimento a un vecchio demo creato dal batterista originale Ken Owen negli anni \'80, "Torn Arteries" si colloca come un punto di arrivo sul lato moderno della discografia dei Carcass, collegandosi direttamente a dove tutto è iniziato oltre 30 anni fa.
