I Blackfoot sono una band Southern rock Americana di Jacksonville (Florida) formata nel 1970 da Rickey Medlocke, attuale chitarrista dei Lynyrd Skynyrd. Sebbene siano principalmente una band Southern rock, i Blackfoot sono sempre stati caratterizzati da influenze hard rock, come è evidente nei singoli di successo Train, Train e Highway Song. Nel 2012, Medlocke ha rinnovato completamente la line-up per portare il suono dei Blackfoot alle nuove generazioni. Negli ultimi anni hanno fatto numerosi tour, per presentare musicisti e musica ai fan. Nel corso degli ultimi due anni Medlocke ha scritto, suonato e prodotto il nuovo album Southern Native. I Blackfoot saranno in tour tutta lestate.
