Belphegor - The Last Supper / Blutsabbath - (CD)

La famigerata band death/black metal BELPHEGOR, formatasi a Salisburgo nel 1991 (sotto il nome di Betrayer), si prepara per un viaggio indietro nel tempo pubblicando versioni rimasterizzate di The Last Supper e Blutsabbath. Originariamente pubblicati nel 1995 e nel 1997, la ferocia blasfema e antireligiosa per la quale la band è conosciuta e temuta, è nata in queste registrazioni. "The Last Supper" dal punto di vista sonoro è più vicino all'ondata death metal degli anni '90 (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Morbid Angel) mentre "Blutsabbath" ha visto la band abbracciare completamente la crudezza del black metal che plasma il suono del marchio del gruppo. Inoltre, i testi scioccanti e le immagini estreme, così come il loro incessante tour, li hanno aiutati a costruire rapidamente una grande fan base in tutto il mondo. Rimasterizzato da Andy Classen nel 2021, i fan si renderanno immediatamente conto di quanto questi due album suonino attuali ancora oggi.
