Il testamento spirituale di Tony Allen, maestro creatore dell'afrobeat e batterista sommo, uscirà postumo in coincidenza con il primo anniversario della sua scomparsa, avvenuta nel giorno del suo 80. compleanno - il 30 aprile 2020. Il desiderio e il fine di Tony era lavorare con giovani artisti, in particolare con i rapper di nuova generazione: dagli esordi con Fela Kuti, concepiva la musica come messaggio non solo politico e polemico, ma anche come mezzo per sanare le fratture del mondo contemporaneo.
