La melodic heavy metal band Alcatrazz torna con il nuovo album Born Innocent, primo album in studio da Dangerous Game uscito nelò 1986. Oltre al cantante, frontman e membro fondatore Graham Bonnet, Born Innocent vede la partecipazione di Jimmy Waldo e Gary Shea, con Bonnet fin dall'inizio. Born Innocent è un viaggio attraverso neavy metal melodico e articolato hard rock e riprende da dove gli Alctrazz si erano fermata negli anni '80, prima della lunga pause. Tra gli ospiti presenti in Born Innocent: Chris Impellitteri, che ha composto e suonato la chitarra nella title track Born Innocent, Bob Kulick in I Am The King, il virtuoso chitarrista giapponese Nozomu Wakai che ha contribuito alla realizzazione di Finn McCool, e Steve Vai che ha scritto con Bonnet Dirty Like The City.
