Mille anni dopo una Guerra Mondiale, un regno ai confini con il mare conosciuto come La Valle Del Vento è una delle poche uniche zone ancora popolate. Il regno è governato da Jihl che ha una figlia, la coraggiosa Principessa Nausicaä.
