L'ultima volta che abbiamo visto la ragazza assassina Hit Girl e il giovane vigilante Kick-Ass, stavano entrambi cercando di vivere come due normali teenager chiamati Mindy e Dave. Preoccupato del diploma di fine anno e di un futuro alquanto incerto, Dave crea la prima squadra di supereroi mondiali insieme a Mindy. Sfortunatamente però Mindy viene scoperta nei panni di Hit Girl, ed è costretta a ritirarsi, restando sola ad affrontare il terrificante mondo della scuola, popolato da malvagie studentesse. Dave, a quel punto, si rivolge a Justice Forever, un gruppo guidato da un ex criminale, il Colonnello Stars and Stripes. Mentre i supereroi si danno da fare sulle strade della città, il supercattivo di tutto il mondo, Mother F%&*^r, crea la propria squadra e mette in atto un piano per far pagare Kick-Ass e Hit Girl per ciò che hanno fatto a suo padre. Ma c’è solo un problema: se ti metti contro anche un solo membro di Justice Forever, ti metti contro tutti.
