Valerie è una bella ragazza tormentata da una scelta d'amore. E' inamorata di Peter, un vero e proprio outsider, ma i suoi genitori hanno già organizzato un matrimonio di interesse con il benestante Henry. Non volendo perdersi, Valerie e Peter hanno deciso di scappare via insieme ma all'improvviso la sorella maggiore di Valerie viene uccisa dal lupo mannaro che vaga per la foresta intorno alla cittadina.
